Cosa tratta questo video
Chilu and Eze, hosts of Chess Team, cross the Canada–Alaska border by motorhome on July 1 alongside friends Mariana and Guille, completing a roughly 3,000-kilometer overland leg from Vancouver.9:16 The crossing itself is quick and unquestioned at the border window; exiting Canada requires no separate stop, as the Canadian departure is processed automatically through the U.S. entry system.9:14 The group had never planned to reach Alaska by motorhome — their original goal was always a round-the-world sailing voyage, and the motorhome was always a temporary project.15:55 They raffled off their previous vehicle, the Chimovil, on January 1, 2024, to fund a boat purchase.0:23 At the Alaska border sign, the crew places a sticker and celebrates with other overland travelers arriving in a convoy of roughly 20 motorhomes.21:40 They continue to Tok, the first town inside Alaska, where they reunite with friends from the groups Americano and Jumura Matata, plus a traveler named Andy.24:05 Chilu falls ill shortly after arrival.25:29 The episode closes with the group sharing hamburgers and chocolates, framing Alaska not as a destination but as the start of the sailing chapter.28:03
