Cosa tratta questo video

Jason Wynn and Nikki Wynn perform a formal renaming ceremony for their sailboat on September 17, 2016, to officially change the vessel's name from Reset to Curiosity.4:46 The ritual involves reciting traditional invocations to Neptune and Aeolus, pouring champagne as a libation to the gods of the sea and wind, and removing all traces of the former name from the boat.1:44 Following the christening, the crew executes a final ceremonial step by sailing the vessel in reverse to symbolically erase the previous name from the sea.5:11 They achieve this by heaving to and adjusting the mainsail to starboard, allowing the boat to drift backward.6:03 The ceremony concludes with the crew and guests snorkeling.6:53 The process requires careful adherence to traditional maritime superstitions to ensure the vessel remains under the protection of the gods of the sea.
