Cosa tratta questo video

James and Holly, living aboard the boat Tridium in a Central American mangrove estuary, discover a queen bee on a leaf and attempt to relocate the swarm to a custom-built hive to prevent the bees from nesting inside the boat’s mast.0:09 They construct a wooden hive box featuring internal ledges for wax slats and two entry points.6:10 The crew captures the queen and several attendants, placing them in a cage inside the hive with a supply of "queen candy" and sugar water.10:04 To encourage the swarm to adopt the box, they position the hive near the bees' preferred gathering spot at their hydroponics setup and provide supplemental water and sugar solution.7:29 Despite these efforts, the bees continue to forage independently rather than tending to the queen, requiring the crew to manually hydrate the caged queen to keep her alive.12:47 The goal is to establish the colony in the box so it can be relocated to land at least three miles away.5:16
