Cosa tratta questo video

Sailboat Krait, crewed by Ivana and Carlos, made an unplanned technical stop in the Galápagos Islands while transiting the Pacific toward the Marquesas — a route where Galápagos is an uncommon and expensive diversion.1:22 Javi, aboard Regina, recounts the story as relayed to him by Luis, captain of Lacheron: the Krait crew was deceived by a local agent connected to the Galápagos reserve, and when the situation came to light, the reserve authorities themselves behaved poorly despite knowing their own agent had misled the sailors.2:14 Javi declines to detail the full incident, instead directing viewers to the Krait's Instagram and the channel Vivir a Sondemar for the complete account.2:41 He notes that Galápagos is bureaucratically complex and costly, and had not planned to stop there on his own future Pacific crossing.1:53 The episode serves as a warning that cruisers transiting the Pacific should research Galápagos agents and authorities carefully before committing to a stop there.3:24
