The Abbott Boats Inc. Yngling is a 6.3-meter fractional sloop designed by Jan Herman Linge, built by Abbott Boats Inc. from 1967 to the present. With a fin keel and spade rudder, it displaces 600 kg. The Yngling served as the Olympic class for women sailors from the 2004 Athens Games through the 2008 Beijing Games. Competitive sailor Kristian Nergaard began his career in the Yngling class in 1974 before transitioning to international success in the 5.5 Metre and Soling classes.2:26
