The Abbott Boats Inc. Yngling is a 6.3-meter fractional sloop designed by Jan Herman Linge, built since 1967 by Abbott Boats Inc. It features a fin keel with a spade rudder, a beam of 1.7 meters, a draft of 1.1 meters, and displaces 600 kg. The Yngling served as the Olympic class for women sailors from the 2004 Athens Games through the 2008 Beijing Games. Kristian Nergaard began his competitive sailing career in the Yngling class in 1974 before moving to the 5.5 Metre and Soling classes.2:26
