The locker refurbishment requires removing seven hatch lids, which involves extracting numerous corroded or seized fasteners. The owner uses a combination of manual wrenches, an electric drill, and a Dremel tool to remove stubborn screws, occasionally resorting to drilling out bolts or using a ring wrench to break the tension on seized nuts. After removal, the lids are sanded and prepped for painting.
