Hva denne videoen dekker

The owners of the catamaran Mistertong replace their existing Dometic refrigerator and a secondary small cooler with a new, larger unit to increase cold storage capacity and improve living space in the saloon.8:30 After measuring the available cabinetry, they remove non-structural interior partitions and shelving to accommodate the 1.67-meter-tall appliance.10:24 They repurpose an existing drainage system, originally designed for a wet locker, to handle the new refrigerator's defrost water.13:09 The installation requires custom carpentry to build a support platform and secure the unit within the existing joinery.15:53 While performing these upgrades, the crew also assists with the haul-out and bottom painting of a neighboring vessel, Orion, gaining experience in sanding and applying primer and antifouling paint.23:15 The project concludes with the successful integration of the new refrigerator, which provides more floor space in the main cabin and eliminates the need to navigate around multiple cooling units.28:07 Proper measurement and the use of a jigsaw allow for a precise fit within the existing boat furniture.18:54
