Hva denne videoen dekker

Mads installs a Dometic ProHeat X30 hydronic diesel heater aboard the sailboat Athena, focusing on mounting the unit, plumbing the system, and preparing the exhaust. He mounts the X30 to a custom bulkhead bracket and connects the PEX tubing to a manifold system, which includes a summer valve for heating water independently of the cabin.6:53 To manage noise and condensation, he applies sound insulation to the technical compartment, securing the panels with adhesive and mechanically fastened plastic mounts.4:19 He connects the fuel line using the provided marine-grade hose and fittings, following the manufacturer’s instructions for tightening the connections.11:46 The exhaust installation requires drilling a hole in the transom to meet the recommended 36-inch height above the waterline and a 12-inch condensation loop.13:29 He uses furnace cement for the exhaust connections and plans to use epoxy-mounted spacers to maintain hull clearance.16:36 The project remains ongoing, with electrical wiring and system bleeding scheduled for the final phase.17:02
