Hva denne videoen dekker
Nandji - Frothlyfe drags anchor multiple times during a severe lightning storm, forcing the crew to monitor their position throughout the night to avoid colliding with nearby vessels.0:18 During one incident, the boat drifts within five meters of a catamaran, requiring the engine to be engaged immediately to maintain clearance.1:46 The crew utilizes an anchor drag alarm app but expresses uncertainty in its reliability, opting instead for manual watch-keeping from the helm during heavy rain and wind shifts from the northwest to the southwest.1:13 Once the weather clears, the crew visits a paperbark forest near Agnes Waters.7:07 Following the storm, the crew performs maintenance on the marine head, replacing a faulty Y-valve that was incorrectly routing waste both overboard and into the holding tank.8:11 The repair involves clearing blocked plumbing and replacing the valve to restore proper waste management. Frequent anchor dragging in heavy weather necessitates constant vigilance and a prepared engine, while marine head maintenance requires careful handling of existing waste lines.
