Johan constructs the deck saloon coaming for his boat build by laminating and installing custom-shaped panels. To ensure a fair curve from the coach roof to the cockpit, he uses a batten as a guide for positioning the top pieces.▶ 1:12 Unlike his usual process of cutting foam core before lamination, he laminates the panels first to provide structural rigidity during installation, though this approach consumes more router bits due to the cured glass.▶ 3:30 The panels measure 6.3 meters long, with widths tapering from 45 centimeters to 35 centimeters, and require 14 kilograms of epoxy and 17 kilograms of glass.▶ 13:08 After positioning the port side panel with CA glue, he plans to fill the gaps with thickened epoxy and route a radius on the sharp edges before tabbing the structure into the coach roof and side decks.▶ 20:45 The project also includes site work at his farm, Plågan, where he prepares a stone path for a kitchen garden.▶ 14:15
