Mads and Ava completed a 665-nautical-mile transit from Florida to Oriental, North Carolina, aboard their 44-foot hurricane-damaged catamaran, *Spiffy*.11:57 The vessel performed reliably during the four-day, sunrise-to-sunset motoring trip, with only minor mechanical issues: a loose alternator bracket on the starboard engine and a small diesel injector leak on the port engine.12:12 Upon arrival at Marine Craft, the crew rafted *Spiffy* alongside a fleet of Antares and PDQ 44 catamarans to prepare for a long-term refit.11:25
