Sven Yrvind fabricates custom tool holders for a drawing board, designed to secure five items: a calculator, eraser, pen, compass, and scale.▶ 0:37 The holders are made from sections of hose, fixed in place with epoxy.▶ 0:01 Working through the build, he grinds the backs flush, cuts the hose edges to center each tool, and adds a small string to retain the scale.▶ 2:22 He evaluates each holder as he goes: the eraser, pen, and compass holders work well; the scale holder is marginal and may need a larger diameter; the pencil slot may need a thinner pencil.▶ 1:52 The work is done on both sides of the board.
