Because the statute of limitations for challenging salvage ownership lasts two years, publicizing improvements to the boat risked legal claims from the previous owner.1:53 The owners eventually secured legal title after two and a half years.3:58 During this period, the crew also recovered their other vessel, *Another Adventure*, which had been abandoned in a foreign country.5:35 The boat required significant repairs, including the fabrication of a new rudder.6:21 A friend, Travis Croft, performed emergency fiberglass repairs on the rudder post to facilitate a 500-mile transit.6:52 The crew later stripped the temporary fiberglass, molded a new rudder, and installed it along with new water systems and DIY LiFePO4 lithium battery banks.7:57 Ultimately, the crew sold both *Sandbox* and *Another Adventure* to acquire a new vessel, *Tritium*.9:35
