Meanwhile, the offshore short-handed scene remains competitive, with recent European gold medals in both large and small classes. Despite challenges in securing sufficient practice time in specialized boats like the RC44, the overall outlook for Norwegian competitive sailing remains positive, with a focus on Olympic qualification and the continued development of youth and club-based racing.
