O que este vídeo aborda

The crew of SV Delos, a cruising sailboat, navigates a 22-mile passage in the Marquesas Islands to reach a more protected anchorage.2:04 Facing 20-knot easterly winds and a two-meter swell, the crew beats directly into the weather, requiring a series of tacks that effectively double the distance traveled.2:27 The boat maintains an apparent wind angle in the low 40-degree range during the upwind leg before rounding the island and bearing off to reach the destination.5:28 Upon arrival, the crew discovers a dental emergency: a crown has dislodged from a tooth.12:57 After confirming via a WhatsApp cruiser group that professional dental services are unavailable locally, the crew uses a temporary dental repair kit to re-cement the crown.15:24 They receive remote guidance from a dentist on another vessel via FaceTime.18:34 To secure backup supplies, the crew hikes 1,000 feet over a mountain ridge to a neighboring bay to meet fellow cruisers.22:37
