O que este vídeo aborda

Lauren Landers hauls out her monohull in Grenada at Spice Island Marine for a multi-week maintenance period to address burnout.0:06 The yard stay allows for keel, rudder, and through-hull inspections, as well as davit system modifications involving a Hydrovane.0:21 During the haul-out, she struggles to remove the cutlass bearing and the shaft coupling, ultimately deciding to hire professional help for the shaft work while she is away.17:59 She rents an apartment within the yard to gain access to air conditioning and reliable power, which simplifies living conditions during the project.7:41 Before departing, she secures the vessel by emptying water tanks, setting roach and ant traps, and shutting down non-essential systems, though she leaves the fridge and freezer running.22:33 She plans to attend the Annapolis Boat Show upon her return.24:00 Leaving the boat in a yard provides a controlled environment for complex repairs, but renting nearby shore-side accommodation significantly improves comfort during extended maintenance periods.
