O que este vídeo aborda

Tomás and Agustina haul their boat, *Bohemia*, out of the water for maintenance after months of sailing in extreme heat.0:23 The couple travels to Phoenix, Arizona, to purchase supplies and rest, utilizing a rental car and an Airbnb to recover from the physical toll of living aboard.1:38 They source specific marine components via Amazon, including a 12-volt to 24-volt converter for a Starlink Mini, replacement refrigerator and freezer thermometers, and electrical relays for a digital conversion.9:17

Returning to the boat, the crew performs extensive bottom work using products from Total Boat.10:45 The maintenance includes sanding the hull, rudder, and keel, and applying specialized epoxy barrier coats to the Sail Drive and exposed metal components to prevent electrolysis.11:13 Tomás repairs blisters on the rudder by cleaning the area with a Dremel tool and filling voids with a two-part epoxy mixed with fiberglass filler.17:13 He notes the challenges of maintaining an encapsulated metal keel, opting for a thorough sanding and anti-fouling paint application rather than abrasive blasting.13:29 Proper surface preparation with de-waxer and surface prep agents remains critical for epoxy adhesion.19:15
