O que este vídeo aborda

A solo sailor departs Georgetown, Exumas, after two months of autonomous cruising across roughly 15 islands and anchorages, heading north toward Eleuthera approximately 110 miles away. He splits the passage into two legs of about 50–60 miles each to avoid overnight sailing, planning an intermediate stop at Staniel Cay before continuing to Cape Eleuthera. Departing the crowded Georgetown anchorage requires threading between closely packed boats in a channel that doubles as a mooring field; he keeps sails down until clear. He times his exit through the cut for the end of flood tide, just before ebb begins, noting that an opposing ebb current would double the wave height. Once clear, he hoists full main and full genoa in a 25-knot following wind that fluctuates between 16 and 27 knots, making 8.5 knots. The autopilot struggles to hold course, so he reefs, after which the boat stabilizes and sails balanced. Cat Island, 60
