What this video covers

Repairing the bow of the Antidote involves installing foam core panels and addressing voids created during the initial bonding process. After identifying gaps behind the fiberglass tabs on the starboard side, the owner drills access holes to inject thickened epoxy into the voids. To ensure full coverage, he uses thin epoxy to fill lower sections before pumping thickened resin upward with a caulking gun. Lessons learned include preparing all tools and materials before mixing epoxy, as the resin thins when temperatures rise during the curing process. For future bonding, he recommends applying excess epoxy to ensure full squeeze-out rather than relying on secondary repairs. Additionally, the owner constructs custom storage racks for fiberglass materials and Divinacell H100 foam sheets using one-inch schedule 40 iron pipe. He removes the galvanized coating from steel washers using a 5% vinegar solution before welding them to the pipe frame. Finally, he creates templates from door skin to cut foam panels for vacuum bagging the bow section.
