What this video covers

A German Shepherd and Siberian Husky mix named Prada, currently residing at the Coconut Hound Haven in the Dominican Republic, undergoes a day of socialization and training to prepare for adoption.2:00 The dog, which has been confined to a kennel due to high energy levels, practices leash manners, including walking at the handler's forward quarter and stopping on command.0:47 The training process involves transporting the dog via tuk-tuk to a dinghy, then to a sailboat, and finally to a paddleboard to expose her to new environments, water, and public spaces.7:34 Despite initial sensory overload and attempts to jump from the paddleboard, the dog demonstrates adaptability and calm behavior around people and children.8:18 The handler uses a harness and a leash secured to his leg to maintain control during transit.12:13 The dog shows high intelligence and a quick ability to learn new behaviors, such as drinking from a hand.29:30 Consistent training and exposure to varied environments significantly improve the dog's temperament and readiness for a permanent home.54:12
