What this video covers

The crew arrived in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, after a 285-mile passage from Madeira. The transit took one day and 21 hours, with winds ranging from 25 to 30 knots on the first day and 15 to 20 knots on the second. Securing a berth in the Port of Las Palmas proved difficult due to the high volume of vessels participating in the ARC transatlantic regatta, but the marina staff provided a slip near the race office.Watch The crew plans to stay for approximately one month to perform maintenance, including a service of their life raft.

During the passage, the crew successfully used a Garmin inReach to receive weather data. To overcome the device's lack of an external antenna port, the host modified the unit by soldering a connection to its internal antenna, allowing it to link to an existing Iridium Go external antenna mounted on the boat's arch. This setup allows the device to remain inside the cabin while maintaining a reliable satellite connection. The crew also explored the Túnel do Cavalo in Madeira, an 800-meter water conduit tunnel.
