What this video covers

The owner of the sailboat *Corail*, currently moored in Fort-de-France, Martinique, details recent maintenance projects and vessel upgrades. The primary installation is a new, custom-fitted red lazy bag, which replaces a damaged original.1:35 The owner notes that the new design features side-mounted zippers rather than a center closure, which he believes will improve handling around the lazy jacks.7:46 Additionally, he replaced a broken deck hatch window using a polycarbonate sheet sourced from Spain, which he cut to size and sealed with marine-grade white silicone to avoid drilling new holes in the deck.16:55

The owner also maintains a detailed maintenance log for *Corail*, which is currently listed for sale.19:40 This log tracks routine tasks such as watermaker biocide treatments—using acid and alkaline cycles for preservation—and gas bottle replacements.20:01 He emphasizes the importance of documenting these procedures to assist future owners.19:09 The video also mentions a brief encounter with the crew of the sailboat *La Belle Lurette* in the anchorage.1:40
