What this video covers

The City of Long Beach, California, will hold a public boat auction on June 29, 2024. Bidding begins at 9 a.m., with public viewing of the vessels starting at 8 a.m. The auction typically includes smaller marine items such as kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and dinghies before proceeding to the sale of impounded powerboats and sailboats. Interested buyers can find specific event details, including the auction location, by searching "boat auction" on the official longbeach.gov website. While the city maintains a collection of impounded vessels at the marina, their inclusion in the auction is not guaranteed. Prospective bidders should monitor the city’s website for official updates and registration information.
