What this video covers

The crew of Yabá, a boat currently undergoing an extensive refit, balances ongoing interior construction with the challenges of living at anchor in Brazil. While waiting for clear weather to perform major carpentry, the owners install a new freezer, requiring custom electrical connections and a dedicated shelf.6:54 They prioritize structural work in the engine room, specifically installing ash wood supports for the diesel tanks to improve organization and ballast.11:24 To enhance safety, they plan to mount a polycarbonate shield over the exposed propeller shaft.17:21 Other pending projects include installing a marine toilet, a shower base, and a black water tank, all of which require specific components before the final interior plywood can be fitted.11:38 Despite the heavy workload, the crew attempts to integrate fishing and deck maintenance into their daily routine while anchored. The project remains focused on preparing the vessel for future coastal cruising along the Brazilian coast.17:46
