Acorn To Arabella · video

What this video covers

Steve and the crew are preparing the mold for the keel of the wooden boat Arabella, a process involving the use of a smelter tank and wheel weights.0:07 Despite significant progress on the build, the production of project updates has lagged due to the time constraints faced by Alex, who balances a full-time job with filming and editing duties.0:45 Currently, Patreon contributions provide approximately $100 per video, which equates to $4 per hour for Alex’s 25 hours of production work.1:27 The team aims to increase this funding to $300 per video by the end of the year to raise Alex’s compensation to $12 per hour.1:45 This financial shift would allow Alex to transition to full-time work on the project, enabling more frequent updates and higher production quality.1:57 The team encourages support through Patreon donations, channel subscriptions, and social media engagement to reach this goal.3:03
