What the fleet has seen

The Clubswan 43, as the fleet has seen it

Derived from the videos the fleet has analysed of this model. ▶ marks open the moment aboard.

The Clubswan 43 is a 14.6-meter fractional sloop designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian and built by Nautor Swan from 2024. This performance sailboat, with a 7050 kg displacement and a fin with bulb and spade rudder hull, is designed to maximize its ORC rating. Its narrow waterline requires a 20-degree heel to engage the full beam for stability. During sea trials in 15 knots of wind, the Clubswan 43 maintained 7.5 to 8 knots at 22 degrees apparent wind.2:07 The interior, designed by Lucio Micheletti, uses cork for insulation and weight reduction, featuring removable hanging bags instead of traditional lockers for regatta preparation.4:29 It lacks a dedicated chart table, using a convertible saloon table for navigation.4:26 Aboard SEILmagasinet, a sea trial revealed a 30-hp engine capable of around 9 knots.46:14 The Clubswan 43's base price is approximately 820,000 EUR, excluding sails.1:04
