The Ericson Yachts 32-2 is a masthead sloop designed by Bruce King, built by Ericson Yachts from 1969 to 1978. This fin-keeled sailboat, with a spade rudder, measures 9.6 meters LOA, has a 3.0-meter beam, and draws 1.5 meters, displacing 3991 kg. It is the more popular successor to the earlier Scorpion 32 and was produced with hull numbers 101 through 573. Wicked Salty mentioned an Ericson 32 as an example of a fiberglass monohull between 32 and 38 feet with a diesel inboard, priced under $35,000, that they considered for full-time living on the US East Coast.2:33
