The Farr 6000 is a 6.1-meter fractional sloop with a swing keel, designed by Bruce Farr as Farr Design #57 and built by Sea Nymph Boats of New Zealand from 1977 to the present. It has a beam of 2.5 meters, a draft of 1.6 meters, and a displacement of 884 kg. The Farr 6000 was commissioned by Sea Nymph Boats. Aboard 59° North Sailing, a career yacht captain mentions having skippered the Farr 60 Venomous on the UK south coast, a larger Farr design, highlighting the designer's presence in racing circles.15:24
