The Feeling 44 is a masthead sloop sailboat, designed by Alain Mortain and Yiannis Mavrikios and built by Kirie from 2001 to 2012. It measures 13.8 meters LOA with a 4.2-meter beam and a 2.6-meter draft, displacing 10090 kg. The model features a keel/centerboard hull with dual rudders. A variant with a fin keel and 2.20m draft was also produced, with a ballast of 2380 kg and a displacement of 8500 kg.1:48 The Feeling 39, a similar model, is noted for its swing keel, allowing a shallow draft of 2.4 feet for anchoring in shallow waters or sitting on the bottom.3:28 Its owners, who previously sailed an Island Packet 420, chose the Feeling 39 for its shallow-draft capabilities in the Bahamas.34:40
