The Hallberg-Rassy 352 is a masthead sloop designed by Christoph Rassy and Olle Enderlein, built by Hallberg-Rassy from 1978 to 1991. It features a fin keel with a skeg-hung rudder, measures 10.6 meters LOA, 3.4 meters beam, 1.7 meters draft, and displaces 6699 kg. Aboard *59° North Sailing*, Ben Shaw sailed his 1985 Hallberg-Rassy 352, *Dovka*, 2,989 miles from La Cruz, Mexico, to the Marquesas in 23.5 days, continuing through the Tuamotus to Tahiti.12:52 Aboard *WhiteSpotPirates*, Nike and Flo sailed their Hallberg-Rassy 352, *Santana*, 480 nautical miles from Rabat, Morocco, to La Graciosa in the Canary Islands, maintaining five to seven knots with a wind vane despite confused seas and cold temperatures.11:58 During this passage, the boom vang hardware loosened, requiring an at-sea repair. *Abandon Comfort* considered a Hallberg-Rassy 352 as a backup boat after a survey revealed significant issues on another vessel, including a two-inch hull-to-deck joint gap and softened deck sections.9:08
