The Hallberg-Rassy 35 is a 11.1-meter masthead sloop designed by Olle Enderlein and built by Hallberg-Rassy from 1967 to 1978. It features a fin keel, a 3.0-meter beam, a 1.3-meter draft, and a displacement of 5499 kg. Aboard *Abandon Comfort*, Ryan and Kelsey live aboard their Hallberg-Rassy 35, named *Lucy*, in southwest Florida.8:25 They considered downsizing from their 35-foot boat, finding its interior space equivalent to a 1,000-square-foot apartment, which they felt was too large for their two years of liveaboard experience.10:14 They noted that a smaller boat would reduce yard fees, slip fees, bottom paint, and maintenance time.11:49 Despite considering a trade for a 30-foot pocket cruiser, they decided to gain more offshore experience with *Lucy* before making a decision about a bluewater boat.11:00
