The Kraken Yachts 50 (DIBLEY) is a 15.2-meter Solent-rigged sailboat designed by Kevin Dibley and built by Kraken Yachts since 2021. It features a fin keel with a rudder on a skeg, displaces 18,249 kg, and has a 2.3-meter draft. Kraken Yachts designs its blue-water cruisers with an integral Zero Keel, molded as part of the hull to eliminate keel bolts, and an Alpha Rudder system that uses a full-length skeg reinforced with an internal stainless steel beam. The rudder system incorporates three bearings, including a main Jepha needle roller bearing accessible from inside the vessel for maintenance without hauling.8:11 Aboard *Sailing Millennial Falcon*, Adam and Khiara toured a Kraken 50 in Turkey during its commissioning phase, noting interior features like an island berth with fold-down side supports, automatic interior lighting in cupboards, and book-matched wood veneer panels.11:21 They prepared for a 500-mile test sail around the Sea of Marmara to evaluate the yacht's performance.15:40
