The Outremer 49 is a 15.0 m fractional sloop catamaran with twin daggerboards, designed by Barreau, Neuman, and Christophe Barreau, and built by Outremer from 2010 to 2012. It displaces 9979 kg and has a 7.5 m beam and 2.4 m draft. The model was replaced by the Outremer 51 in 2013. Outremer, along with Gunboat, is owned by Grand Large Yachting.1:06 Aboard *Sailing La Vagabonde*, the crew toured an Outremer 45, a similar model, noting its PC-based navigation software and the importance of weight management for performance, particularly concerning its retracting keels and storage.11:48
