The Passport Yachts 42 is a Stan Huntingford-designed cutter-rigged sailboat built between 1981 and 1988, featuring a fin keel with a rudder on a skeg.0:30 With an LOA of 12.8 meters and a displacement of 11,566 kg, it shares design similarities with the Slocum 43.0:41 Aboard *Cruisers Academy*'s 1980 Passport 42, *Lentica*, the vessel is configured as a cutter-rigged sloop with a retractable bowsprit and a mast-mounted pole system for spinnaker handling.1:53 Its heavy-duty fiberglass hull and deck originally featured teak, which was later replaced with a non-skid gelcoat. The cockpit manages 16 lines with two winches, and a custom arch supports 820 watts of solar power. *Lentica* is equipped with a 54-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine, two 270-amp-hour Battle Born batteries, and a Combi hydronic heating system. *Cruisers Academy* uses *Lentica* for week-long cruising trips from La Paz, Mexico, around Espiritu Santo Island, offering sailing, snorkeling, and paddleboarding.7:10 The crew of *Sailing SV Delos* buddy-boats with *Lentica* in Mexico, hiking a volcano and performing a downwind sail with spinnakers.0:28
