The Xp 44 is a 13.9-meter fractional sloop designed by Niels Jeppesen and built by X-Yachts from 2011 to the present. It features a fin with bulb and spade rudder hull, a 2.3-meter draft, and displaces 8650 kg. The Xp 44 is designed for both cruising and racing, with a standard mainsail of 59.6 square meters and a 106% genoa of 47.2 square meters. A taller rig with a carbon mast is available, and the boat can carry a 170 square meter spinnaker.59:36 The model is considered a good compromise for family cruising and competitive racing, often alongside boats in the 35- to 45-foot range.
