The Hanse Yachts 455 is a 13.6-meter fractional sloop designed by Judel, Vrolijk, and Co., built by Hanse Yachts from 2014 to 2017. It features a fin keel with a bulb and a spade rudder, displacing 11,600 kg with a 2.2-meter draft. An optional T-speed draft of 1.82 meters and an L-shape draft of 2.25 meters were available, along with an optional 72 hp engine. Aboard *Allende los Mares*, a Hanse 45 named Nerec was chartered for a skipper training workshop in Croatia, where participants practiced passage planning and crew management.1:04 The workshop crew identified mechanical issues with the Genoa during their pre-departure check-in. *45 Degrees Sailing* noted that Hanse has standardized on Raymarine Axiom chart plotters, moving away from B&G electronics, and recommended upgrading to an electric swim platform on models above the 455.2:50
