After cracking three of four glass panels while removing the butterfly hatch, the crew sourced replacements and resealed the frame.2:13 The bowsprit installation required structural modifications, including the addition of GRP tubes for through-bolting the platform and staysail stay, replacing the original Samson post support with eight through-bolts secured to the king plank.11:07 The crew applied two-part PP-Extra varnish over a base layer of epoxy to improve waterproofing and UV resistance on exterior wood components.9:32 Additionally, the team applied two liters of KiwiGrip to the deck, completing the non-skid surface.20:17 The project also included installing handrails, winches, and cleats to seal deck penetrations.19:10 A warranty claim successfully secured a replacement motor for a Mirka sander, preventing a month-long delay in the sanding schedule.3:18
