Qué cubre este vídeo

The crew of the 41-ft Lagoon 410 S2 catamaran Suria anchors in the bay of Algameca Chica, Spain, after a motor-only passage from Aguilas. Anchoring in the area requires careful navigation to avoid Posidonia seagrass beds, which necessitated three attempts before finding a suitable sand patch. The crew notes that the anchorage is best approached while the sun is high to ensure visibility of the seabed. The location features a dry riverbed and proximity to the industrial port of Cartagena, which the crew plans to visit later. During the stay, the crew hikes to the abandoned military fortifications overlooking the bay, navigating steep, thorny, and narrow paths along the cliffside. The site includes remnants of old barracks, munitions storage, and defensive walls. The crew reports that the area is prone to flash flooding, evidenced by debris in the riverbed and a recently rebuilt pedestrian bridge. They intend to wait for a favorable weather window with westerly winds before attempting a passage to the Balearic Islands.
