Qué cubre este vídeo
The crew of the Cape George Cutter 36 Magic Carpet completes several final refit tasks in preparation for a marine survey and launch. They successfully start the engine for the first time, using a Bluetti power station to run the fuel pump and a remote water tank to supply cooling water.1:54 To ensure the engine remains cool during the initial five-minute run, they avoid pressurized hose connections, allowing the engine’s raw water pump to draw from the tank.1:15 The crew also installs a propane system, including a solenoid valve and a dedicated DC switch, and verifies the integrity of the connections with a soap-and-water leak test.20:06 Additional work includes sanding the Coppercoat bottom paint using SIA ceramic mesh discs for dust control, flushing the water tanks, and wiring essential systems like navigation lights, bilge pumps, and a shower sump to meet regulatory requirements.11:52 The project concludes with the installation of the propeller and the successful ignition of the Force 10 stove.16:54
