The Lagoon 440 is a 13.6-meter fractional sloop catamaran with a twin keel hull, built by Lagoon Catamaran from 2004 to 2010. Designed by Van Peteghem, Lauriot Prevost, and Lauriot-Prevost, it displaces 12,149 kg with a 7.7-meter beam and 1.3-meter draft. Aboard *Vagabond Voyages*, owners prepared their Lagoon 440 for cyclone season in Fiji by doubling mooring lines, installing a protective cockpit cover, removing the bimini, and storing electronics with silica gel.15:00 They also cleared food, treated surfaces with anti-mold solutions, and sealed deck fittings to prevent leaks. *Sam Holmes Sailing* toured a Lagoon 440 and noted maintenance issues including broken hatches and difficult engine access.5:48 The model was replaced by the Lagoon 450 around 2010.4:26
