The crew experiences seasickness, limiting their ability to eat, and reports significant water over the decks due to the boat’s heavy displacement and short, steep wave periods. Despite solar panels and a VEVOR 12V-to-220V inverter, the crew monitors battery consumption closely during overnight watches. After encountering periods of calm with only 2 to 3 knots of boat speed, the crew anticipates finishing the final 60 nautical miles under engine power.
