They also troubleshoot an electrical issue, identifying a misconnected battery isolator that prevented the engine from properly charging the house battery bank. The crew manages the dinghy using a centered towing system to mitigate jerking motions caused by following seas during transit. After securing the boat with locks and finalizing preparations, the hosts travel to the airport to see off a guest who is concluding a multi-year motorcycle expedition across the Americas. The crew plans to return to the boat shortly after their brief absence.
