The crew of the Lagoon 450 *Parlay Revival* completes a 700-mile passage from Ngunukan to Lombok, Indonesia, navigating shallow reefs at Maratua Island and crossing the equator in the Makassar Strait. During the transit, the crew performs a traditional equator-crossing ceremony, inducting four new members as shellbacks. Following the ceremony, the vessel encounters 20- to 26-knot headwinds, causing significant motion and a mechanical failure when a masthead sheave for the main halyard shears and falls to the deck. The crew relies on drone and eyeball navigation to enter the Maratua atoll, avoiding dry reefs where charts proved unreliable. Despite the challenging conditions and the equipment damage, the vessel arrives at Gili Air near Lombok. The passage concludes with the crew participating in a competitive golf match on land.
