The SunPower 170-watt monocrystalline flexible solar panel offers a high-output, mid-range pricing option for marine electrical systems.0:08 These panels feature six pre-mounted stainless steel grommets, allowing for installation on canvas, direct deck mounting, or temporary placement using bungees.0:56 The cells originate in the United States and undergo assembly in France.1:04 Each unit includes a junction box and standard MC4 connectors.2:09 For optimal performance, Pacific Yacht Systems typically pairs this panel with a Victron 75/15 solar charge controller.0:47 While these flexible panels provide efficiency comparable to rigid alternatives, they offer greater versatility in mounting locations and storage.1:49 Owners often stow them under mattresses when not in use.1:28 The panel provides a balance between cost and power density, making it a frequent choice for boaters seeking accessible solar upgrades.1:49
