Catamaran Mistertong · vidéo

Ce que couvre cette vidéo

The owners of the catamaran Mistertong perform ongoing maintenance and deck modifications while troubleshooting a broken 3kg washing machine. Djé fabricates and installs a custom support for a plancha grill on the deck, using resin, wood flour for fillets, and an abrasive steel disc for shaping. He reinforces the structure to accommodate an existing stainless steel balcony support and ensures proper drainage over the side of the boat. Simultaneously, the crew disassembles the washing machine to investigate a mechanical seizure in the drum assembly. They discover a broken, non-serviceable internal component within the plastic tub, rendering the unit irreparable. The crew decides to rely on laundromats and external laundry services while considering the purchase of a replacement unit. Nad works on interior upholstery, completing two cabins using improvised measurements. The owners reflect on their experience with boat surveys, noting that they would approach the selection and inspection process differently if purchasing another vessel, though they emphasize that their experiences are personal and not professional advice.
