The Linjett 36 won the Årets Båt (Boat of the Year) award in Norway, and a Linjett representative reacts to the win at what appears to be a boat show.0:05 The representative credits the award to the model's combination of easy single- or two-handed sailing with full onboard comfort: two cabins, a shower, a large head, and a forward cabin with storage.1:10 Despite its compact size, the 36 sails fast and handles well with minimal crew.1:01 The boat also features a stern platform designed to accept either a folding electric outboard or a swim ladder, making it practical for exploring Norway's archipelago.1:49 The representative confirms Linjett is already developing a new, larger model that will carry the same solutions — integrated electric motor option and nature-access stern platform.2:02 Visitor interest at the show is described as high, with many prospective buyers asking about test sails at the yard.0:25 The award is attributed specifically to the balance between performance and livability in a manageable package.1:26
