The 2008 Southerly 110, named Peridot, features a swing keel design that allows for shallow-draft navigation and beaching. The vessel underwent significant upgrades between 2018 and 2022, including a full standing rigging replacement in 2019 and a 2022 application of Coppercoat antifouling. The sail inventory, replaced in 2020, consists of a Sanders Vectron fully battened mainsail, a self-tacking jib, and a furling Code Zero. Deck equipment includes an electric windlass, a starboard-side electric winch for mainsail hoisting, and a cockpit tent. The electronics suite was updated with new Raymarine instruments, including an autopilot, AIS, and radar. Below deck, the boat provides six berths across two cabins and a convertible saloon. Mechanical maintenance includes a recent replacement of the keel pennant, fuel lines, and alternator, with the engine recording approximately 700 hours of use. An additional 100-liter water tank was installed in 2019 to increase total capacity.
