Ce que couvre cette vidéo
Single-braid Dyneema lines, specifically the SK78 fiber, provide high strength-to-weight ratios and minimal stretch for various marine applications. Robline manufactures the Ocean 3000, a single-braid SK78 line available in multiple colors, which features a polyurethane coating applied to individual fibers to enhance abrasion resistance and structural integrity.0:52 These lines lack a protective cover, making them suitable for applications where the line wraps on a drum or requires high strength in a small diameter.0:52 An 8mm diameter line offers approximately 10,000 pounds of breaking strength, while a 2.5mm line supports 1,120 pounds.2:36 Robline also produces an STS (Stronger Than Steel) variant, which undergoes a heat-stretching process to achieve more than double the strength of standard SK78 per diameter, though at a higher cost.3:31 These products serve diverse uses ranging from kite surfing lines to heavy-duty trailer winches.1:32
