Ce que couvre cette vidéo
A 37-foot sailboat performing a solo med-moor in the Greek town of Burkari faces a near-collision when a departing mega yacht snags the sailboat's anchor chain.6:50 The yacht attempts to depart at speed, dragging the sailboat’s chain and threatening to rip the windlass from the deck.6:56 The sailboat owner engages the engine to maintain distance from the seawall while simultaneously paying out chain to prevent structural damage to the bow.7:06 The yacht crew eventually clears the fouled anchor, leaving the sailboat’s gear intact.7:16 Earlier in the day, the same owner manages a separate incident involving an adjacent vessel that lost its anchor hold due to a fouled chain, requiring the owner to temporarily lash the drifting boat to his own to prevent a collision with the dock.6:02 The experience highlights the risks of crowded med-mooring, particularly when neighboring vessels lack proper anchor management or situational awareness.
